Derree Braswell is Vice President of Performance Excellence at Adecco Group, NA. Derree is an exceptional business leader with 15+ years of experience working in fast-paced, staffing, retail and educational environments that demand strategic insight, strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills. She is confident and poised in interactions with senior leadership and individual contributors at all levels. She is an expert in managing change, building relationships and managing a wide range of learning and organizational development strategies, including talent development, performance management, and process improvement initiatives. Her life motto is “love what you do!”
In her current role at Adecco Group, Derree is responsible for designing development tools that proactively service and support the company’s 6,600 colleagues and 12 business units across North America and Canada. (Ex: Technical Skills, Leadership Development, Training Design and Implementation/Tracking; and Manager Boot Camps.)
In her spare time, she is an itinerant conference speaker for leaders, women and non-profit organizations. Derree has a passion for seeing individuals grow into their full potential and provides individualized coaching and mentoring. She hosts “Design Your Life” workshops to help individuals take charge of where they are going in life.
Derree is well respected in the field of Learning and Development. She is a former President of the Northeast Florida Chapter of ATD and served as a member of the board for eight years and also served briefly at the National level. Derree is a certified Birkman Consultant and has facilitated over 100+ national and international trainings. She is also certified in Crucial Conversations, Emotional Intelligence, Bob Pike’s Train the Trainer, Instructional Design and more. She has co-authored over thirteen award-winning training programs and is currently writing her book, entitled “Turn the Page!”
Derree is married to her husband Joseph; together they have seven children and five grandchildren and reside in Jacksonville, Florida. She loves her work helping others learn more about themselves in order to be their “best” self!
