Carolyn is the Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Altegra Health, Inc.™ and a veteran of the Human Resources profession for over 35 years.
She has held previous roles of Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at several major life-science and bio-pharmaceutical companies including; Noven Pharmaceuticals, IVAX Corporation and Cordis Corporation (a Johnson and Johnson Co.).
As a business owner and entrepreneur, Carolyn is President & CEO, CMS Global LLC – Her industry consulting engagements include: Heath Care Services, Banking, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Medical Services and HR integration for private equity/venture capital (PE/VC) acquisition initiatives. Her experience also include partnerships in women’s fitness and intimate apparel in her new venture Nudz Inc.
Carolyn has served as presenter, facilitator and/or panel speaker for both local and national professional organizations. Professional honors include; South Florida Business Journals’ Excellence in Human Resources, ICABA’s 100 Most Accomplished Blacks in Healthcare ∓ Law and the Life Time Achievement Award from the Greater Miami Society of Human Resources Management (GMSHRM).
She previously/currently serves on the following boards; Goodwill Industries of South Florida, United Way of Miami Dade County (trustee), Women’s Executive Leadership (WEL), Florida International University (FIU) MSM-HRM Advisory Board and The Children’s Trust.
She holds a Masters’ degree in Business and Human Resources Management from Florida International University (FIU), as well as advanced credentials in community and private sector leadership.
Carolyn is the mother of two adult children Sheila and Marc, and a grand-daughter Falynn Donaldson.
